When relocating you are entering a new life, with new people and new surroundings that’s why we are offering supported living. We will give you all the support you need to help you settle into your new way of life.
The internet has a whole wealth of information available from your local supermarket to the nearest bus stop. We want to make sure our tenants have everything they need to make sure they can integrate into the community.
Our community integration is created to help our Tenants build their confidence in personal, social and vocational life. We want everybody to be able to live happily and successfully.
A person may participate in a variety of community life experiences or interactions that may include:
- Leisure or recreational activities.
- Communication activities.
- Spiritual activities.
- Cultural activities.
- Vocational pursuits.
- Volunteerism.
- Educational and training activities.
- Development of living skills.
- Health and wellness promotion.
- Orientation, mobility, and destination training.
- Access and utilization of public transportation.
- Interacting with volunteers from the community in program activities.
- Community collaborations and social connections developed by the program (partnerships with community entities such as senior centres, arts councils, etc.)
